A new RailClone update is available bringing with several useful improvements and fixes, along with new assets to make it easier than ever to detail interior and exterior renders with fully parametric railings. See below for a list of what's new, or read our blog post for a more detailed overview.

RailClone 7.1.2
  • Fixed scale issue for 'Windows' libraries when working with scenes using centimeters.
  • The Offset operator now respects the spline's local coordinate system instead of using the RailClone coordinates. This approach is much more suitable for rotated paths.
  • Improved edge detection when the boundaries of Surface and Spline Areas are coincident.
  • Fixed: Flatten Stepped doesn't work if using an empty Transform node in place of geometry.
  • Fixed: Spline->Transform->Rotation causes a spline flip when rotating exactly 180 degrees.
  • Fixed: Value List cannot use negative values.
  • New library content: iron and wooden balustrades under Architecture > Exterior.

This is the fourth update since the RailClone 7 release. For a glance at other recent changes, please see the following release notes.
