Hello ,
 
I’m a 3dsmax 2011 and vray2 user.
I want to buy a plugin like yours to use a lot of grass , tree or other in my scene.
Matt Guetta tell me a little about your plugin.
I just want to now what the diffences between forest pro and other plugin like multiscatter.
I’ve got 2 pc on my personnal network , do i have to buy 2 licences ??

Hello, thanks for interesting in Forest Pro.

Currently both plugins are very similar, Forest includes some exclusive features as: real-time camera clipping, billboard support, clustering, tree editor, items creation based on external references (splines, meshes, other objects), maps library, etc.

Probably MS adds other characteristics, but i have not used it extensively. Instead comparing both products, we prefer to add the new features according the suggestions of our users.

For a local network, we suggest to use Network licenses (the price is the same than Stand-alone type). The license is required to edit or render Forest objects, but if you don't use both PCs simultaneously, a single license can be shared between both workstations.

The render nodes don't require any license, Forest can be installed on them in an unlimited way.
