Hi,
I need a car moving animation on a ariel view.
Its that posible to make a car moving along a path/spline on 3ds max using forest pack?

Hey there! For animating a single car moving precisely along a path in 3ds Max, Forest Pack isn't really the tool for that – it's more for scattering lots of objects like trees or crowds. You'd typically use the Path Constraint feature in Max, or just animate the car's position and rotation manually along a spline. That's definitely possible to do for an aerial view animation! ragdoll hit

Hi,

Depending on your scenario, you could animate the object’s controllers. If you choose this approach, make sure to apply an XForm modifier to your custom object and animate that instead of its Position/Rotation/Scale controllers - ForestPack overrides those during scattering calculations.Another option is to use 'help surfaces' to control the car placement, as shown in this post. You may also find our Parking Cars tutorial useful.
