Title: clipping or collision detection feature?
Post by: wonderland on October 08, 2012, 10:22:29 PM

Just wondering if there's a feature in lite or pro (or both?) that stops grass, for example, from growing through objects such as rocks when said objects are placed on them?

It's been troublesome seeing blades of grass growing through solid objects in my scenes.

Many thanks :)

Yes, there is a specific feature for this. You must create an excluding area of type "Object" and assign the rocks to it.

Also it is possible to create an excluding area from other Forest object, that would be for example a set of scattered rocks.

You can find many examples of use in the Modern Barn tutorial.
