Error in 3d max 2008

i installed forest lite for max 8..its working properly..but when im installed for 3d max 2008 .plug in part is working...but click a forest button getting a error massage .error reading forest.cfg . ..i re installed..but  it same.....so what to do

Please, try a manual installation following our FAQ:

Most of times, this is a rights problem when copying the files to  "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>...."  in the installation process.

For the next Forest 3 release, we have writing a new installer that must solve all these issues.
