Surface problem
« on: July 19, 2014, 10:10:28 PM »
Hello,
At first I'm sorry if my english isn't good, I'm french ...

Today I started to Forest but I am having a rather annoying problem ...
To express I'll take the picture on the website of the software vendor http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/FORESTPACK/Surface
As we can see from this image -> http://docs.itoosoft.com/download/attachments/9371680/surf_scaletofit.gif?version=1&modificationDate=1400517288058&api=v2 when making shapes mountain on a surface, the forest is supposed to follow the surface (Fig. 2 and 3). Now my problem is that I set a good area to start forest tool, but this forest appears to be on frame 1 ... Basically on the X axis and Y it's happens but on the Z axis it's wedges, and I confess that it's starting to drive me crazy!

Here is a screenshot of what I get

No, there is no way to use Forest Lite with uneven surfaces. This is a limitation of the free version.
You can see the differences between Lite and Pro here.
