Adding textures to custom objects
« on: March 08, 2012, 09:06:03 PM »
Hello all:
I'm using forest pack lite on a flat plane in a scene and I'm using a custom object, my question is how do you apply the shader or maps to the forest?
I'm using a fully mapped .obj as the trees for the forest, I'm also using one of these same trees in the scene and they render fine - fully textured.
I'm using 3d studio max 2012 sp2, Forest pack lite version 3.6.0 .

Any ideas would be helpful

Forest uses the same maps and textures applied to the source object. About the material, it is assigned in the "Material" property, in the Geometry rollout.

Probably it will be to big for the forum as well. You would upload it to some file sharing website, and send us the link.
