Forest Lite with HQ Catalog
« on: December 10, 2011, 07:01:16 PM »
Good day,

I have Forest Lite, and purchased HQ Palms, but when I try to add the Library to the catalog Browser, as shown in the tutorial here "Library - HQ Catalog", it gives me " The selected directory doesn't contain HQ Palms Library".
Any help is highly appreciated.

Regards

The software searches the file "HQ_palms_1_matlib.mat" in the HQ Palms folder. Please, would you check if this file exist in your installation ?

Hello,

Thank you for your swift reply,
Well it was, But being a neat Freak, i always reaarrange my folders in my private collection folders, thus removing the .mat to my material libraries and the maps to my maps collection and the max to my max collection folders.
Guess this is why it was not seing it.
It is working now and I can see the previews in the Catalog, but when I choose a palm it does not apply it to the scene, guess because I have changed the folder name, or it does not matter??  what should the folder name be?

Thank you very much

In order to HQCatalog can work, you should keep exactly the same file structure included in the HQPlants zip file. If you have modified directory names or file locations, try to unpack of all files again from the original package.

Thank you very much,

I should not have changed the folders location.

One of the best "catalogging" plugins.
