scale falloff

Hi
A feature i would really like. The ability to let your trees scale down in size when it gets nearer an edge. Like a combination between density-falloff and scale-falloff. But you should be able set a minimum value for how small the trees should be allowed to get.

Hi,

Thanks for the input. We like to add new options as this for the next release.

i second this request!

are there any ways in the existing software that will allow you to use a falloff map to control the distribution of transformations?

and if I wanted a gaussian curve density falloff would I need to create a new one from scratch? what format are these made in?

thanks for the help!

Actually it's not possible.

The curves are handled by Max, you can modify them using Maxscript. See "CurveControl" section in Maxscript reference for details.
