Scattering Hair and Fur objects with forest pack light
« on: July 25, 2017, 12:21:42 PM »
Hi

I've created som kind of lawn, and want to break it up by adding some places with "wild grass".

I've created some grass tufts with help from Aaron Dabelows "Debris maker 2", but here is my problem, the debris maker uses native 3ds max Hair and fur modifier to create the grass patches, and I can't get Forest Pack to distribute these objects??

Is it just me that is doing something wrong, or can't these objects be scattered?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The Hair and Fur modifier can be converted into a mesh under Tools - Hair -> Mesh (attaching screen-shot). Hope that helps.

Best regadrs,
