Is there a way to expand the scattering of forest object outside the area, to be sliced more efficiently  ?

If I'm correct, "boundary checking/edge mode" clips object placed in "point mode", which is basically placing object by pivot on every white dot of the distribution map in the area.

But if you scatter, for example, 20 cm boxes distribution map with a "full" pattern (100x100 pixels map, density set to 2000cm ) you won't have slicable object on certain parts of the edge of the spline because the pivots falls outside.

Is there a workaround to "expand" the area of a certain amount ? (for our example 10 cm would be enough to generate the needed objects)

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. This feature does not exist currently but I have forwarded your request to our development team for consideration.

Thanks for feedback, it's always really helpful.

Kindest regards,
