"Get Color from Map" can only use map channel 1?

It seems that when I use the feature "Get Color from Map" in Forest Color, I can use only map channel 1 to tile the texture. I tried using channel 2 but it didn't work. Is it possible to use channel other than channel 1 for bitmaps in "Get Color from Map"? For example channel 2, 3 etc.?

Hi, this feature is limited to channel 1 because UVW coordinates are pre-computed when items are scattered (within Forest).
Instead, map channel should be defined in Forest Color, but this plugin is accessed only at render time. Since it's not possible to know what map channels will be needed (it may be multiple copies of Forest Color using different channels), Forest cannot prepare them.

I'm afraid there is not a simple way to fix that.

Thanks for the reply. Ok, As a workaround I'll use different channel for the textures of the underlying object so I can use channel 1 for the "Get Color from Map" texture.
