Mountain forest
« on: April 18, 2020, 11:32:00 AM »
Hi guys,

I have a mountain scene made using Gaea and I have generated a black and white snow map.

I was wondering how can I use this as a mask for the forest object so that it only scatters trees outside the snowy areas.

I tried to put it in the distribution map slot but it looses the dense pattern and places trees in perpendicular grids in the black areas of the map.

Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Vali
