Title: "Top Limit" does no work right.

Greetings!

Is there any reason why "Top Limit" option in "Areas" behaves this way?

Hi, it's caused by an unreported bug.

We can fix it easily for the next update. If this problem is critical for your work, please tell me your Max version and we'll prepare a custom patch.
