Upgraded to Pro and HQ Plants1 crashes
« on: September 19, 2012, 12:11:21 AM »
I was previously using the Lite version, and I had purchased the HQ Plants directory.  It worked great, but when I upgraded to the Pro version today my library was no longer there.  I probablly did this the wrong way, but I went into my C drive and copied my old library from the Lite version and pasted it into the Pro version.  Everything showed up fine, but when i would select a plant from my HQ Plant1 directory and add it to a line, 3ds max would crash.  The 2d plants and free 3d plants still work, however.  Should I have done this a different way, and how can I resolve this issue?
Thanks,
Cole

You must reinstall the HQ Catalog addon, just after Forest Pro. Besides the library files, it includes some scripts that need be installed.

I suggest you before delete the files copied from Forest Lite. Or better, uninstall Forest Pro and repeat the installation process (first Forest, next HQ Catalog), to be sure all files are correct.
