Map to map correspondence
« on: January 05, 2015, 01:17:00 PM »
Is it possible to have the maps in the forest colour for diffuse correspond to the maps in a forest colour set up for glossiness, ( for example ) ?

Hi,

Sure, it's possible. Although it's mainly designed to add colour variation to the Forest items, it can be used in other slots than the diffuse one. Attaching sample images of both possible modes - Item / Element with Forest Color map linked also to Reflect map slot (so the Forest Color map value controls also Reflection amount).

Kind regards,

Zenith

Hey thanks for that  :)  What i mean is though- to have a different forest colour for the glossiness ( for example) but have the Map # numbers correspond with the Forest colour map # numbers in diffuse, so that i can use specific images for each.

Kind Regards

Hi,

You're welcome. Well, with probabilities values set identically for both of Forest Color maps,  these map slots should correspond as the random seed value is calculated on a geometry (item / face) basis - in this case shared.

Kind regards,
