Animable position in custom edit mode
« on: February 05, 2020, 07:01:32 PM »
Would it be possible to have animated object positions in custom edit mode? Or is it technologically impossible? Thanks

Hi, it would help to know what are You trying to achieve. There are few tricks how animation can be used.

But generally position in custom edit can't be animated.
Another solution is to use particle flow for animated paths.

Thanks, it was a simple animation when we needed to move a tree / shrub from a particular shot. In one frame a particular tree position, another frame a different tree position. No curve is needed. Now it is only possible to delete the tree and replace it with xref / vrmesh. A possible solution would be a button for detach as instances vrmesh. Just like in tools, with the difference that it would be a specific object.
