Can't seem to exclude areas fully with Splines :(

Hi - I might be missing something obvious however I can't seem to get clean divisions between grassed areas and clear. I am using a closed splines to exclude areas, this is working in most areas but not all. i'm also getting random areas where it gets added.

apologies, i found the fault - the splines i were using are from CAD, and closer inspection found there to be some extra splines along side the closed splines. by removing these extras the cuts are now perfect.
