Title: Animating objects
Post by: FL3876 on May 08, 2018, 03:46:49 PM
Hi,

I have to to one of those animations where things form up and I have a stadium full of chairs. that need to grow around the stadium. for the individual chair I have used some xforms and slice to get the animation going and thats working fine. But i want to do is offset the animation in a circular method .So the ring of chairs and then the next and so on.  I have tried to do with using an animated map in the scale of the transform section. But that then messes up the variety of scales on the objects.

Whats the best way to do this?

Thanks

Hi

One way to do it- control with gradient ramp map:

Thanks, thats what i started on. I am having an issue where some of my objects are not scaling down when the map is black. What could the issue be?
