Hi,

That's the current limitation of some render engines implementation (as the Octane renderer) and I'm afraid there's no easy fix. As mentioned in our on-line reference guide: "Renderers that use our custom interface are not currently compatible with the Disabled, Random Sample, Random From Map, and Frame from Map animation modes. This limitation affects Corona, V-Ray RT, Octane, Thea, Moskito, and Arion. Currently, Forest Pack returns only a pointer to the custom object in the scene and a transformation matrix, so all items are pure instances of the original geometry and animation will be treated as though it is Follow Geometry mode.

To improve this behavior we should include new functions to our API, and then all 3rd party renderers update their Forest Pack implementation using the new interface. These changes are in our wish-list, and we hope can be done in future updates. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Best regards,

Hi Michal, I found a workaround to my problem : I just need to use Animated Octane Proxies as geometry and it works.
I think it is because Proxies reload its geometry each frame... (perhaps)
