Animation motion blur
« on: May 03, 2022, 11:45:47 AM »
Hello,

I'm working on a train project and created a background landscape with ForestPack. I would like to add motion blur (as the train is moving). As using the landscape as xref for each different wagons is way simpler than animating the multiple train parts in each files, I want to animate the landscape instead.
I managed to animate the landscape surface easily, but the Forestpack trees generated on it do not follow the animation so do not have any blur. Is there a way to make it work?
Thank you in advance and have a fantastic day.

Hi,

Thanks for the question. please try the following.

- Group the landscape and the forest objects (but not the source geometry)
- Animate the whole group moving
- In Forest Pack, enable Follow Geometry from the Animation rollout.

I hope that helps,
Paul
