Flat colours for objects in a FP object?
« on: November 23, 2018, 06:00:30 PM »
I have abunch of people that I have scattered about using FP. I want the people to have random colours when rendered, but look flat (like billboards), so no shading/reflections etc. I am using VRay to render.

What's the best way to do this? I could render them on their own and achieve this in post, but I want the result to be correct at render time. To control the colour, I'd like to be able to select the random colours manually, either by using small coloured swatches (saved as jpegs) with a multitexture (or similar) or use vraycolour/forestcolour pickers...

Is this possible? Could be a Friday evening thing but I'm pulling my hair out here!
Kind Regards,
Rich

Hi

What do You mean by these conditions:
"I want the people to have random colours when rendered, but look flat (like billboards), so no shading/reflections etc."

Starting scene would help us better understand what You want to achieve.
