evermotion archmodels into forestpack
« on: November 03, 2015, 10:03:14 AM »
Hi,

We successfully installed the Evermotion Catalog into the Library Browser and can see
the pack showing up there, BUT when we want to link it to our bought Archmodels Set,
we get this error:

Any tips how to nicely include the packs and not do it manually.

Hi Ryan,

In the Select Installation Path window you should select the "top" folder that contains all other folders (Vray / Mentalray / Scanline). In the Evermotion Catalog 1.0 you need to have available also the mental ray's version of models (if the Library Browser can't find those, you'll get the error "The selected directory does not Contain Evermotion Plants ... library").

We are currently preparing a new version of this catalogue (with support from other packages 42, 61, 113, 117 & 154) and only with verification of the V-Ray folder.

So, if you want to avoid the need of extract also mental ray models, you can replace the file "evermotionplants.ms" located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Itoo Software\Evermotion Catalog\lib

with the "new" one that comes attached. As I mentioned earlier, this version is looking for models of V-Ray.

Hope that helps.

Best regards,

Michal mentioned the Pack 154 in the last Post. So yes.
Unfortunately it does not work for the Pack _58 from the Evermotion Catalog as seen in the attached Screenshot.
100 & 124 are working

That's odd, v58 works here...

Hej!

You mentioned that the evermotion catalog for earlier ArchModel Packs is on their way. Is there something we should consider installing to work with our ArchModell Libaray better? We just updated to newest version.
