Title: Better solution to use closed spline as open

Hi,

I'm creating some forest zones, at the edges I'd like some extra vegetation.
It would be handy to scatter those on the spline, with a certain width, as if the splines that generate the forest were open for these extra vegetation objects.

But it's already from some years ago.

Maybe there can be done something with the effects tab?

Hi,

I'm afraid at the moment the advice from the other post is probably the best way. However feedback like this is helpful so I'll add an option to treat closed splines as open to the wishlist for discussion in the next version.

Hi Paul,

Would be nice to have this feature.
Because then we can use just one spline, for both.
So you don't have to think about changing multiple splines to keep everything linked and up to date...
