Bitmap by Geometry ID?
« on: May 13, 2021, 01:51:00 PM »
I have 3 trees that I'm going to use in an FP scatter. all have a common material but now I have baked some light to a 2nd UVW channel and texture. This lighting map plugs in to the self-illumination slot - obviously this varies for each tree due to their different shapes.

Is there a way, using forest map that I can avoid splitting the materials in to 3 seperate material, one for each tree? Can the Forest Colour assign a certain map to a certain custom object, or is it always random?

Hi. Thanks for the question.
That is something we would like to give control for advanced users.

I don't know how to do that at the moment.
