Title: Bug: Importing objects, default plane ramains

Hi, this bugs me:
Importing one item from library works ok, multiple fails... Adding geometry from scene- fails even on one item.
Why is that?

The behaviour is different when importing one or mulitple items from the library: one item replaces the selected element, and multiple add them preserving the existing ones.
