BUG No Items created on surface in xy mode
« on: December 15, 2016, 08:25:51 PM »
I have a weird problem with some Surfaces in my scene. I get zero objects on them (no proxies, ticks, nothing) and I can'T figure out why. Only when I turn on UV-Distribution instead of xy I suddenly get objects. My Landscape is a large poly object. I tried collapsing it, resetting the xform, creating a new forest object...I'm runnign out of ideas. I thought maybe the Landscape Object is perhaps too big, but I created a plane with the same size and amount of polys and everything works. Any ideas anyone? Some help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using 3d max 2017 with the newest Forest Pack Pro.

*SOLVED* I found out my normals were flipped. I already tried flipping my normals, but I had to refresh teh surface for it to show up (even though I could swear I created a new forest after flipping the normals. Anyway: Problem solved.
