Hey, everyone... I can't for the life of me get Camera Clipping to work. I can get it to "work" in the viewport, but when I render, clipping is completely ignored.
In the attached, I have a gray plane that I'm populating with pink boxes via FP. I've set enabled "Limit to visibility" and Enable on Viewport I/R, which I set to "Cameras" (though I've tried all options here). In the Viewport, I see the scene as expected, with the pink boxes only in the foreground. Same with top view. But when I render either view, I get pink boxes all across the surface -- no clipping.
Using Arnold for rendering. Latest 3ds Max 2022 64 bit.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Big thanks for the provided scene. With your help, we've been able to reproduce this behavior here too. We'll continue analyzing this issue - it'll need to be investigated more in deep by our main developers and hopefully, a solution will be found soon. Meanwhile, the Render > Mode: Meshes could be used to apply settings from the Limit to visibility feature when using the Arnold renderer. Just take in mind, that it "disables the instancing power".
Best regards,

Thanks for the reply. I hope it gets fixed soon. I rely heavily on camera clipping and instancing.

Fixed in Forest Pro 7.2.1 beta (https://forum.itoosoft.com/announcements/forest-pack-pro-beta-7-2-1/).

Hey there... are you sure? I did not have a chance to install 7.2.1, but it doesn't appear to work in 7.2.2. See attached and file. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, in your scene the Back Offset parameter is too high.
Just lower it, and (optionally) turn on Enable on Viewport, to see clipping working.

That works. I think I clicked "Enable in Viewport" and when I didn't notice a change, I reset it. Then I played with back offset and still didn't see a change. The key was to adjust BOTH. Thanks!
