Hi,

Using Forest Pack 7, latest version and MAX 2021 (latest version). Arnold renderer.

I read this document about the above error.
https://docs.itoosoft.com/kb/forest-pack/some-forest-were-not-built-correctly-in-the-last-render-error

I kept reducing the number of objects, but I kept getting the error.  Finally, I removed ALL geometry from that Forest item, and the error was still there.  I have another Forest Item in the scene that produces no errors when I render.

Scratching my head here.  I've got other scenes using ForestPack with millions and millions of objects (vast wheat fields) and I get no errors.

Anything else to check?
Thanks.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you're facing these troubles. Under the General - Forest Stats window you can check more details about that Forest object and it should give you a hint, where the problem might be. Also, please feel free to send us the simplified scene (containing problematic Forest object(s)) through WeTransfer to helpdesk@itoosoft.com to check it here. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Thanks Michal.  I ended up just deleting the Forest item and rebuilding it.  Whole scene is working fine now with just as many iterated objects as before.  Probably something I did in the original Forest setup that caused that issue.
