can't propagate things on whole surface

I have problem with propagating things on surfaces. I set two material ids and I want to propagate on edge (mat id 2) the blobs. but they don't show everywhere.
How can I fix it?

Hi Lukasz,

In this case, the UV mode will do a better job. A recommendable way would be to detach a copy of these polygons into a "help surface" which will Forest use for the distribution and remap UVs as wanted to get the correct distribution. Attaching a modified scene, hope you'll find it useful.

Thanks Michal, actually this is what I done but I was hoping that there is some other way so I don't loose modyficators etc.
