Title: Carpet Color
Post by: Bobby Parker on December 15, 2016, 12:19:33 AM
How does one match a carpet sample to Forests carpet colors? I find Forest coloring kind of confusing.

Hi,

The idea behind rug materials is the possibility to modify them very easily within the Forest Color (http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/FORESTPACK/Forest+Color) map. For example in the case of "_fp_Rug12" by modifying four colours that are used to give variety to the hairs of the carpet.

To add further randomization you can adjust Tint settings of the Forest Color map, optionally use technique (within a Composite map) described in following "Leaf Color Clusters with Forest color. Fall trees (http://forum.itoosoft.com/index.php?topic=4017.msg15678#msg15678)" thread.

Hope you'll find it useful.

Best regards,

Thanks. I worked through some things and I got it to work. I had a white balance going on, which was messing colors up. I think that I am good. Again, thanks!
