Forest colour texture as surface tint not working
« on: January 21, 2020, 08:01:59 PM »
Hi.

Any idea why we can't get Forest pack to render based on the surface texture.

It's always worked in the past.  I've followed a few tutorials in case I'm going mad but it still isn't working

It seems like the colour tint slot of the forest colour isn't working.

My grass, for example just renders as white.

The only way I can get the forest colour node to work is if I plug the texture into the default map.  But this just makes the grass all one colour.

Maybe I am still going mad ..

Thanks

Hard to give any advice without seeing the scene.

We can take a look in Your situation only if You attached or shared Your files.

Yeah, makes sense.

I just loaded a fresh scene and tested it.  It works fine.

I brought the forest pack &  materials from the working scene into the problem scene and it doesn't work.  Just renders white.

I brought the forest pack & materials from the problem scene into the fresh scene and it works.

I then xref and merge the problem scene into the working scene and it doesn't work... renders white.

Arrrrgh

I need to get this animation onto render so I'll post a basic version of the scene when I can.

Thanks
