Scale down and retain density
« on: May 26, 2017, 01:09:42 PM »
Hi,

I am working on a project where everything in the scene must be 1:6 scale. What is the best way to scale everything down so that for example the grass preset is 1:6 but also the density stays thick as per the original preset? There seems to be a few parameters I can use to tackle this but wondered if there is a set way of doing this? At the moment I am changing global scale to 16% which although scaled correctly makes the scatter very sparse. To fix this I am reducing the Density X: units right down so that the entire area is covered. Not sure if this is the correct way?

Thanks,

Paul Roberts

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm afraid there isn't a global scale that affects all the parameters so your current solution is the correct one. Just change the Density as well as the Global scale and you should be fine. Should a library use the Clusters feature, you may also need to change the size of that as well.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.

Many Thanks,

Paul
