Title: Circle Clothing Rack
Post by: wjc_3d on October 03, 2018, 09:49:06 AM
I'm trying to create circle clothing racks like the image below.

I want to randomize the items of clothing on each rack with Forest Pack, but can't figure out how to have the items follow a path around the circles.  Is there a way to do this?  I want to use Forest Pack to randomize the items of clothing, and the materials on them easier than placing them manually, since I'll have a bunch of these in the scene.

This kind of composition is more suitable to do with RailClone instead of ForestPack.
However if You insist on using ForestPack I would suggest You using two ForestObjects = one for clothes and hangers with Distribution mode Path:

And Separate object for frame. It should use Distribution- Reference Mode-> Pivot

These two combined Forest Objects would give result something like this:

Awesome thanks!  I ended up figuring out the clothing thing, but adding the other racks is a HUGE help!
