Installed Forest pro on 3ds max 2025 and vray 7, not able to scatter nothing

I bought Forest pro today, because 3ds max 2025 and vray 7 did not support my old license.
I installet forest pro, and library (automatic)

I opened 3ds max 2025, and made a forest pro icon, chosed a surface and grass objects.
Nothing happened, i just got a RED "F" icon, tried to see if the path was ok, and it was.

I then installed 3ds max 2024, installed vray 7  and Forest pro for 3ds max 2024.
I get the same error when i tried to import grass and trees.

I then opened a new scene, made a 3ds max plane 13mx13m, i then made a box.
I made a forest pro icon, and tried to scatter the custom box on the plane.
I got the same error.

Forest pro does not work. Is there something i do wrong?

Hi Espen,

I'm sorry to hear that you're facing trouble with it. Under the General - Forest Stats window, you can check more details, and it should give you a hint of where the problem might be. Is the Surface Area enabled? Also, please try adjusting the Distribution > Density values.
