Corona Render and Multiple Forest Packs
« on: April 15, 2021, 07:40:41 AM »
Hi team

I was wondering if this is just how it is or there may be ponteially a fix for this.   I currently have 12 forest pack items in my scene, all vegetation, i find that the interactive render starts much slower when i have them all turned on.  When i turn off the layer with all my forest vegetation, its so much quicker - is there a reason for this apart from the calculation of so many items?  or perhaps it could be something else?  ie like opacity maps or something?  any optimisation tips just in case?

Try turning on not all at once, but one by one. Maybe You can find which one has the biggest influence and tweak that object for faster response.
Anyway, nor max, nor corona was designed for interative rendering.

Thanks for the response..  in a new scene i have, its just your grass preset and 1 tree scattered on some planes - its doing it with this simple scene also... will try to find out the cause.
