create a forest using object placement
« on: January 24, 2020, 05:06:05 pm »
I have a scene with 7000 "tree" objects in it, that I want to replace with a forest pack. I want the forest pack trees to be in the same places as the existing geometry trees. Any ideas?

Rather irritatingly, I think I've done it before, but can't work out how.

Cheers

Bill

Or you can use "reference" distribution ;-)

True. Reference mode can be great too. More info about it.

Hi Guys,

sorry for the silence. I found the reference distribution in the end and used that.

Thank you,
