creation tools - along path problem

I wanted to create hedges along paths so I used creation tools , choosed path and the problme is that some geometry is flying and not on the path :
What might be causing this?

Is there a surface assigned ? If so, please check if Surface->Custom Edit Mode->Link to Surface is On.

Thank you Carlos. when turning off link to surface helped :) And also UV mode helped :)
