Title: Custom presets for scattering leaves on grass

Just curious if anyone wants to share their technique for scattering leaves on grass. I started to follow the techique used in the unkempt grasses tutorial, but I don't really want clumps of leaves, I want a nice even scatter across the lawn with about 12-16 leaf varieties.

Hi,

For this I would simply scatter several leaves over a lawn preset. To have the leaves sit above the grass you can select them all in the Geometry rollout and adjust their position using the Z Offset property.

To get an even distribution of leaves, use a distribution map like "Dense"

If you need to cover large areas, I would create patches of leaves and scatter those, similar to this tutorial: https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/0ldSIeMlg48
