Different Scales within one ForestObject?
« on: December 06, 2013, 11:27:07 AM »
Hi!

I'm pretty new to ForestPack Pro - and i saw tons of your ( really helpful ) videos!
But now i'm using it at work and i don't know where to find the settings for this:
I have one forestobject with 4 different plants ( A, B, C, D ) - i can set the global scale in the geometry panel for all plants, and the scale variations in the transform panel.

If i.e. i'd like to set the "global scale"  individual for Plant A to 50%, Plant B 25%, Plant C to 100% and Plant D to 75% - where can i do this?

Thanks in advance :-)
Robert

There are not local scale controls, but you can scale the Custom Object directly. Obviously, that will affect to all Forest objects that use it.

To select the custom objects easily (specially when using the library), use right menu over the Forest object. Note that library items are stored in a hidden layer (forest_templates).
