i was wondering if i could set different transform settings for different items
i have object "A" that i want to scale between 80-120%
and i have object "B" that i want to scale between 100-400%
i know i can use a separate forest object for "B" but then i'll loose collisions.
is there a way to do this?

No, sorry. It is not possible in the current version.
We are working to support global collisions for next releases, that should solve the problem.
-
Not a great solution but you can use two sizes of "B" objects..
For example,
A->3m high, betw 80%-120%
B1-> 5m high, 100-200%
B2 -> 10m high, 100-200%
or something similar...

thanks for the tip, but in your case i still need two forest objects because i can't have "object A" be 120% and "object B" be 200% right? or am i missing something?

I was wondering if this was ever addressed as I was looking to do the same thing.
This would be a handy feature.

The next update will include exclude areas using other Forest object. This is much faster than collisions, allowing falloffs and all the area features.
The blue grass in the sample image is a separate object, using the Forest trees as exclude area, and applying an inverted falloff curve (new feature as well).

That looks like a cool feature but it really doesn't answer the question of being able to use different transforms on individual objects in the same forest.
Unless of course I am being dense ;D

No, but now it is possible to use separate Forest objects (with specific transforms), while checking collisions (really exclusions) between them, as mikegentile pointed out in his first post.
