Title: Distribution bricks on walls.
Post by: LightSyndrome on May 01, 2016, 06:12:33 AM
Hello dear Itoo Masters.

How could achieve this kind of distribution? http://www.ronenbekerman.com/making-termitary-house/

I find it highly useful to have this type of distribution to generate these superfiecies as required in the ARQVIZ.

You could guide us to accomplish the same logical distribution with forestpack?

With railclone you can do this but RailClone can not avoid the openings of the walls. Maybe you can, but also not how.
For its operation, I doubt RailClone can generate that logic exlusion.

I hope you can help us.

best regards

Hi,

For these purposes you might find handy the UV mode (http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/FORESTPACK/Surface#Surface-Mode) (the surface needs to be properly UVmapped), but with Forest Pack you'll find corners & openings hard to solve and most probably you'll need to combine multiple Forest objects.

The RailClone plug-in will be more appropriate tool for such task and will handle those "problematic" places easily.

Best regards,

HI!

I've posted an example of how this might be achieved in RailClone here (http://forum.itoosoft.com/index.php?topic=3682.0).

I hope it helps, please let me know if you have any further questions about it in the RailClone forum.

Thanks!

Paul
