error on using library
« on: September 08, 2017, 11:25:03 PM »
hello. i'm getting the attached error in 3ds max 2017 upon loading a custom library object(s) that i created.  i created the library object in max 2017 if that makes a difference.  despite getting the error, all seems to be OK, meaning i can render, adjust material, all properties within forestpro etc...

thanks,

edit:  ok, so what happens is, i select forestpro, then click a surface (a plane which is usually an editable poly), then click on library. i go to user library, select what i created (it's grass, like a lawn with 1 multi/sub material and 1 regular material) when i double click to select the library object, or if i highlight it and click ok, the library window closes and i'm returned to 3ds max and the error pops-up.

thanks,

Hi,

Would you mind to send us that problematic part of your library (including .max file(s) and the index.xml), to check it here? Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
