project a google map?
« on: April 21, 2011, 04:53:33 PM »
Hello,
i have to make a large scale aerial view with a google map. The landscape have many (real) forests. Is there a way to project on the (itoo) forest object the google map in order to improve the integration of the trees in the google map ?
Thank's for any tips !

You would assign it as a custom map in Forest, and use 'Match Color ID on map' to define the position and type of tree, according to the color of each pixel:

Probably it would require some Photoshop work to adjust the image, but i think it can be done.
