Hi Admin,

I always got this error every time I tried to use the 2d standard and classic.mat in the forest library. I just bought Forest Pack Pro....This never happened with the lite version.

What Forest and Max version do you use ?

Please, post a screenshot of the error. It would help to get more information about the problem.

I have Forest Pro 3.9.2 installed in 3ds Max 2009.

It is strange, the same configuration works fine here. Please, do this:

- Try to open the material library C:\Program Files\Itoo Software\Forest Pack Pro\matlib\classic.mat in the Material Editor.
- If it fails, delete the file, reinstall Forest and try again.

Yes, that is what I have been doing the other day (I was able to get the .mat and its contents by looking for it in the material editor).

 I just need the 2d plants to open normally when selected. Any more suggestions other than reinstall? Thanks.

Ok, i just realized of the problem: the library has the material path hard coded to C:\Program Files (x86)\Itoo Software\Forest Pack Pro\matlib, but this folder is valid only for Windows 64 bit, not Win 32.

Please, overwrite the XML files of C:\Program Files\Itoo Software\Forest Pack Pro\lib with the content of the attached file. That should solve the problem.

We will included this fix in the next patch as well. I apologize by the inconveniences.

It is now working perfectly.

I will be purchasing HQ Plant vol. 1 in the coming days...hope I can get a promo discount :-)

You can find a 10% discount coupon for HQ Plants in the User Panel, besides coupons for the other products. ;)

This discount is only for existing customers, to purchase additional licenses. Also for RailClone Pro customers, who want to buy a Forest license.
