MAX upgrade

I am running an older Max version, 3DSMax2015 and may shortly upgrade to the new release.
 When\if I do this, what is required to install FP in the new Max?

Just reinstall Forest in the usual way. It will recognize the new Max installation, and will install the plugin for it.
License is unique and shared for all Max versions. It's not needed any special procedure.
