Distribution mode image - scaling
«

Probably obvious but when I use image mode with any of those bitmaps (random bands for instance) how do I control it's UVW or size? It doesn't pick up the objects UVW. Also what's the map then for?
Thx!

Hi,
It can be easily adjusted by tweaking
Distribution
>
Density
values. As mentioned in
our online documentation
, it
"... lets the user choose the scale of the distribution map in the scene. The map is applied in a manner similar to the way texture maps are applied in Max. The image is scaled according to the defined size, and tiled in all directions."
I hope that helps.
Best regards,

Always thought that was only the density of the objects, now I see the behavior. Thanks
