A little thing may to improve while erasing/painting on paint-areas

Hi!
I'm using this awesome plugin and there is very often a situation where i switch through multiple paint areas of a forestobject to erase/paint some areas. But with the erase tool selected it's not possible to switch through paint-areas and erase regions. I always have to deselect the erase tool and select it again after changing to another paint-area.
Same when painting new regions into a paint-area - with paint-tool selected and switching to another paint-aera. i.e.: i'm painting on paint-area A and switch to paint-area B while paint-tool is selected - i'm still painting on paint-area A although area-B is activated/selected.
Hope you'll get what i'm trying to say 
I'm using latest Forest Pack, 3ds Max 2015 + MentalRay - but changing to VRAY soon.
