Pivot point misaligned after parameters enabled
« on: February 26, 2018, 11:40:33 AM »
Hi there,

I've just noticed that in my scene the objects that I've place had their gizmos randomly placed and not at the objects local of 0,0,0. Through trial and error I've found that the gizmos were that of the original placement point, and then when transforms such at translation and rotation, and then adding a surface the objects move but their respective gizmos don't.

Is this correct behavior or is there a way to show the correct gizmo placement?  I feel it would make it easier to make minor adjustments of placement, especially when using high poly trees with low pointcloud count (for performance).

Cheers,
Danny

Hi Danny,

For these purposes, you can use the Store Random option (which "stores the current random transformations into the item's properties and disables the randomness settings. Useful for attaching Forest objects but maintaining their original randomized transforms)".

Hope that helps.

Best regards,
