Title: Feature Request: Scale multiplier by Area
Post by: CK-Mini on January 27, 2017, 10:52:05 AM
Hi,

is it possible to add a Scale multiplier by Area. (Like the "Z Offset" per Area)
An example:
I have some Trees around a house and now i want to paint some more Trees in the Background that can be much bigger.
So I have have one Paint/spline Area around the house and and another area in the Background where I can scale the Trees.
I dont want to add another Forest object because I already have 35 of them

Attached I have an image. (Photoshop)

I dont want to open another Topic, so I write another one here.

It would be great to have a checkbox in the Forest Lister and Railclone Lister to hide/unhide all objects with one click.
In my scene I have 35 ForestPack objects and 32 Railclone objects and I would be very handy to hide them all while working and unhide them while rendering.
I read in another thread that one way is to put all Forest and Railclone objects in one layer to do what I want, but in my scene all the different objects are sorted in a big layer structure.

Hi,

Well, first let mention, that our intention would be to try to simplify the UI, as it already might look for some users quite complex. Currently, it's possible to archive it easily by using two Forest object, but we'll evaluate your suggestion.

Regarding the multiple selection of Forest objects within Forest Lister - we totally agree. Actually, it's already on our wish-list and we'll try to implement it in future releases.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions, your feedback is very important to us.

Best regadrs,
